Building Homes For A Better Community

We always hear about the virtues of helping less fortunate people around us. But sometimes it takes an up close look at ways to help for us to see not just the need, but the rewards you get from giving of yourself.

Recently, agents with the Keller Williams Vestavia office took part in a Habitat For Humanity project to build a home for Ensley resident Janice Jarman. Frankly, no one really knew what to expect. But as things turned out, the project was a huge success—and in more ways than one.

See the video we made of our project as it went along:

We hope you enjoy, but more than that, we hope that–if you really would like to make a difference in the community–you’ll consider becoming involved with Habitat For Humanity.

Shelby Co. Real Estate Market: “Hyper Local” and Healthy

Want to know the health of the real estate market in a specific neighborhood? Knowing something about the market in general for a broad area may not give the information you need. More and more these days, market behavior is becoming addressable to specific neighborhoods.

Hyper Local, a term emerging in real estate that refers to markets in very specific regions, is one of the topics we cover in our new netcast now on-line. We also discuss how the local market around Pelham, Alabaster, Helena and North Shelby County is performing — and the news is encouraging, whether you’re thinking of buying a home, or if you’re considering selling.

As always, we hope you enjoy!
